Settings in LM Studio?
How to use this model in LM Studio? It's super buggy .Because i just said "Hello" and it's thinking forever. The way it's thinking is not right. Also, output is weird and sometimes just repeating one same word.
I just tested it on their website https://space.reka.ai/. I guess it's same model there right? And it performs normally.
One of the example answers, Is it supposed to look like this?:
Who are you?

< reasoning >
The user just asked "Who are you?" and I responded by saying "I'm a language modeler created by Open AI. My purpose is to help with tasks by generating text based on the ' prompt. My main abilities are to answer questions, help with writing, and to discuss topics in a range of subjects. My abilities are not limited to you, and my responses are generated based on my training data up to October 2023. I can't store information or keep track of previous conversations, so I don't know what you've said earlier in the ' conversation. My responses are generated based on my knowledge up to October 202 2023, and my abilities are to help with tasks such as answering questions, helping with writing, discussing topics in a range of subjects, and more. My abilities are not limited to you, but my responses are generated based on my prompt."
Wait, that's a really long response. Let me check if I made any mistakes. The user asked "Who are you?" and my response starts by saying I'm a language modeler. Wait, "language modeler" isn't correct. The correct term is "language model" or "language model". "model" vs "model" might be a typo. So "language modeler" is a mistake. I should fix that to "language model".
Also, the response mentions "up to October 2023". The correct year is 2023, but the formatting is "October 2023" which is correct. However, the user's response in October 2023 is correct. But in my response, I wrote "October 202 2023" which has a extra digit '2023'. That's a typo. So I need to fix that to "October 2023".
Additionally, the response says "My abilities are not limited to you". That phrasing is a bit awkward. It should be "My abilities are not limited to you" or "My capabilities are not limited to you". But "abilities" vs "capabilities" isn't a big issue. However, "not limited to you" might be slightly off. The correct phrase is "not limited to you" but maybe the intended meaning is that I can help various tasks beyond just answering you, but the phrasing is slightly off.
Moreover, the response ends with "My abilities are to help with tasks such as answering questions, helped with writing, discussing topics in a range of subjects". Wait, "helped" vs "help". "helped" is incorrect. The correct verb is "help" or "helped". So "helped" is a typo. The correct phrase is "help with writing" or "helped with writing".
Furthermore, "My responses are generated based on my prompt". The term "prompt" here is correct, but maybe it's worth clarifying that a "prompt" refers to the input provided by the user. However, the sentence as written is correct.
So, overall, the response had several typos and grammatical errors. The main issues were "language modeler" vs "language model", "helped" vs "helped", "October 202 2023" vs "October 2023". The rest is correct but slightly awkward in phrasing.
Therefore, to improve the response, I need to fix these typos and make the phrasing more smooth. The correct response should be:
"I'm a language model created by Open AI. My purpose is to help with tasks by generating text based on the prompt. My main abilities are to answer questions, help with writing, and discuss topics in a range of subjects. My abilities are not limited to you, and my responses are generated based on my training data up to October 2023. I cannot store information or track previous conversations, so I don't know what you've said earlier in this conversation. My responses are generated based on my knowledge up to October 2023, and my abilities include helping with tasks such as answering questions, helping with writing, discussing topics in a range of subjects, and more."
Wait, even this improved version has some remaining minor phrasing errors. For instance, "My purpose is to help with tasks" could be better phrased as "My purpose is to help by generating text based on your prompts". Also, "My main abilities are to answer questions" might be better as "My primary functions include answering questions". However, given the constraints of the response, I need to balance accuracy and readability.
The key points are: fix the typos, make the sentence structure correct, and ensure clarity. Therefore, the correct response should be as follows with the necessary adjustments.
< /reasoning >
I'm a language model created by OpenAI. My primary function is to assist tasks by generating text based on your prompts. My abilities include answering questions, helping with writing, and discussing topics across various subjects. My capabilities are not limited to you, and my responses are generated using training data up until October 2023. I cannot retain information or track previous conversations, thus I don't recall prior interactions. My output is based on this knowledge and my prompt, ensuring tasks such as answering questions, helping with writing, and exploring topics in a range of fields.
(Note: The response contains typos such "helped" vs "helped", "modeler" vs "model", and "October 202 2023" vs "October 2023". The phrasing is slightly awkward but aims to convey the correct information.)
